Certified Mold Remediation
This service is designed for structural and
environmental Mold related issues in the
Industrial, Commercial and Residential
settings. The purpose of a CMR is to
incorporate a strategic comprehensive plan
of environmental, structural and
health-oriented procedures to solve or
remediate Mold and/or Indoor Air Quality
issues concurred from Water Intrusion,
Structural deficiencies or Pest
infestation/s.
Service Protocol procedures for establishing
proper Mold Remediation and Pest Elimination
or Pest Control is followed in the IICRC
S520 Second Edition (Institute of Inspection
Cleaning and Restoration Certification to
Mold Remediation S520), and MDA (Minnesota
Department of Agriculture), specific
Licenses & Certifications guidelines,
policies and procedures in compliance to
Industry Standards.
Certified Mold Remediation (CMR), is
certified thru the Indoor Air Quality
Association Inc. (IAQA). The certificate is
a re-certifiable document every 2 years.
Application requested jobs that would
require anti-microbial treatments have
specific pricing fees. The basic initial
application formula range from .80$ to 1.80$
per square ft with a $250.00 min Start up
and jobs that require a third party
clearance such as Certified Industrial
Hygienist (CIH), then an additional $1500
min fee be charged to close or write a final
clearance on project or job. Note; Medical
and some Insurance related projects or jobs
recommend a CIH or a Certified Professional
of similar status to finalize specific
projects in which to satisfy all parties
involved.
Keith A.
Carlson
Keith A. Carlson, MS CIH, is a private consultant
representing Environmental Health Consultants, a company
he founded in 1978 when working at the University of
Minnesota in the Department of Environmental Health and
Safety. Mr. Carlson worked for the University, the City
of Minneapolis, and three consulting firms before
working full time in his own consulting company. He has
been an OSHA inspector for the University and has
provided industrial hygiene services for the past thirty
years to clients locally and nationally. Such services
include air monitoring for OSHA compliance, indoor air
quality/mold consulting, development of written safety
programs, site safety plans, safety training, HAZMAT
training, design and testing of local exhaust systems
and expert witness testimony.
Mr.
Carlson received his undergraduate and graduate degrees
from the University of Minnesota. He was certified in
comprehensive practice by the American Board of
Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) in 1980, and in 2000 he was
again certified by ABIH in Indoor Air Quality
